A ROCK SOLID CLASSIC A fruity, complex salted dark chocolate to end all salted dark chocolates. Made with single origin cacao from Zorzal Cacao, a farm and fermentary within a bird sanctuary in the Dominican Republic, and sprinkled with Peruvian pink salt sourced from Salt of The Earth Co. We think New York Magazine said it best: this bar has a “deep, dark, mysterious flavor with hints of cherry; and a finish as long as a David Foster Wallace footnote.” We're proud to use salt from Salt of the Earth Co, who sources salt from the ancient salt mines of Salinas de Maras near Cusco, Peru, and contributes a portion of proceeds back to the surrounding community. All of Raaka's chocolate is certified organic, certified kosher, vegan, soy free, gluten free, and Non-GMO and made with ethically sourced, transparently traded unroasted cacao.

    Sustainability

We pride ourselves on our commitment to sustainable business practices, whether that’s our Kraft recycled bags or the sustainable practices our vendors follow. We’re doing our best to be good for Mother Earth.

  • Inclusive Community

Inclusivity is at the core of what we do, whether it’s size, gender, sexual orientation, or race, we are welcoming with open arms. Our store is a safe space for all.

  • Empowering Women

Women are overlooked in countries in the global south, meaning they are the first to end up in poverty, unless they have a son to take care of them. But giving handouts isn’t what we do, we purchase our goods from women who’ve been empowered to make their own money!
